Privacy Policy

ALTRA 80 is a discipline challenge that lives on your phone. This policy says exactly what the app keeps, what it sends and when, who can see it, and how you delete it. It is written to be read.

01 · What lives on your phone

Everything about your challenge is stored on your device and nowhere else: your name, your challenge and its tasks, each day you sealed and each you missed, shields, marks and badges, feats and their values, your Vision goals and daily ritual, your lines, weight entries, Quit choices and reasons, questionnaire answers, and any creator code you enter.

None of it is sent to us or to anyone unless you choose one of the two things below: sharing an image, or joining the Club.

02 · Photos

Progress photos, photos you add to the Today board and the first and last photo the Wrapped shows are stored on your device as compressed files. The Wrapped keeps its own copy of those two so the story survives a new run. Nothing is uploaded. Delete them by removing the photo in the app, resetting the challenge in Settings, or deleting the app.

03 · Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, the app reads steps, active energy, exercise minutes, heart rate and sleep so they can sit beside your challenge stats. Access is read only and processed on your device. Health data is never stored by the app, never sent anywhere and never shared. The app writes nothing to Health. Revoke access any time in iOS Settings under Privacy and Security, then Health.

04 · Sharing

Stickers, the certificate, the invite card and Wrapped cards are drawn on your device. When you share one you choose the image and where it goes through the iPhone share sheet or, if you allow it, Instagram Stories. We never receive the image.

05 · Crews and the Board

The Club tab has two live layers, and both are off until you tap Count me in. A crew is two to eight people who joined the same six letter code. The Board is everyone who is counted, shown only as totals.

When you count yourself in, the app creates an anonymous account (no email, no password, no Apple ID) and sends this record to our server: the first name you choose, your challenge, your day and total days, the date your run began, whether today is sealed and at what time, your marks, feats proven and clean days. Nothing else in the app is sent.

Members of your crew see that record as a row: your name, your day, whether you sealed, your clean days. Nobody outside your crew sees your name or your row; the Board shows counts only. Crew mates can send you a nudge once a day; a nudge is stored as a single row saying who, to whom, on which day.

The server is operated for us by Supabase, Inc. (supabase.com). We do not sell, rent or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Leave at any time from Settings, Your data, Crew and board, Leave and erase. That deletes your anonymous account and every record attached to it immediately. Deleting the app leaves an orphaned record that stops being counted after two days and is removed when its crew empties; use Leave and erase first if you want it gone at once.

06 · Notifications

Daily reminders and the streak guard are local notifications scheduled on your device. If crew nudge alerts are offered and you turn them on, the app stores an anonymous device token on our server so a nudge can reach your phone; it is used for nothing else and is deleted with your account.

07 · Membership and payments

ALTRA Membership is an auto renewable subscription sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your card. To confirm that a membership is active we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user id and the purchase receipt from Apple, and nothing about you. RevenueCat’s own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings.

08 · No analytics, no tracking

There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind in ALTRA 80. We do not know how you use the app.

09 · Deleting everything

Reset the challenge in Settings to erase your run from the phone. Leave and erase in Settings removes you from the server. Deleting the app removes everything on the phone. If you want us to check that nothing of yours remains, email us and we will.

10 · Children

ALTRA 80 is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11 · Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change means the app would send something new, the app asks you first.
